Duke University Basketball Camp Post 1

Anthony, accompanied by Fran's parents, flew out of Jackson Friday headed to Durham, NC and the Duke Basketball Camp. The camp started on Saturday and runs through next Wednesday. Anthony's friend, Ty Rust from Nashville, met him up there and is his roomate. Anthony has been so excited for months about going to his favorite team's camp.

Amanda at JA Cheerleading/Accent Camp

Amanda attended the JA Cheerleading/Accent Camp this past week. She had a really fun time learning cheers and a drill team routine. She even won the dance off contest one day. Her favorite cheer was "Cookie Monster".

Amanda at JA Lady Raiders Basketball Camp

Amanda attended her 1st JA Lady Raiders Basketball Camp this week. She had a wonderful time making new friends including some of the girls from the high school team. On Thursday, the final day of camp, Amanda won the 1 on 1, 3 on 3, and hot shot competitions for her age group; taking home trophies for each. Way to go Amanda!

Orange Beach, Alabama

We had a fun Ridgway family reunion, so to speak, at the condo in Orange Beach, AL over the past week. Chuck, Fran, and Amanda, along with Fran's parents, drove down from Jackson on Wednesday (Anthony had to stay with Mom and Pop because he was going to the MSU Basketball Camp on Sunday). On Friday afternoon, Fran's sister, Sara Ellen Lokey (Sara's husband Bryce, who is finishing his 2nd year of residency, had to work), flew in to Pensacola from Denver. We drove over to pick her up and visited the Naval Museum. On Friday night, her brother, Robert, drove up from Destin. On Sunday, we went down to Destin to see the massive construction project that Robert is working on.

We really had some great family time on this trip, especially Amanda with Sara.
